The Division of Addiction Services is a state-funded addiction program designed to assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with substance or chemical addiction without discrimination. Treatment services offered to both adolescents and adults include comprehensive assessments, group and individual counseling, family education, crisis intervention, opioid maintenance treatment and diagnostic testing to include urinalysis and alco-sensors. Referrals are accepted from all sources including Federal, State and Local authorities, schools, parents and self-referral.
Services are designed to help individuals and their families recognize that addiction affects the family and community system as well as interpersonal functioning. Our goal is to help individuals establish a substance-free lifestyle. In the outpatient program, addiction problems can be addressed while living at home. Treatment focuses on identifying problems and developing coping mechanisms.
Our services are provided by state certified and licensed professionals. The treatment team consists of physicians specializing in addiction medicine, nurses, and licensed and certified addictions counselors. Following a comprehensive assessment, clients are placed in an appropriate level of care treatment according to ASAM criteria:
-
Early Intervention weekly group and individual counseling for adolescents at the beginning stages of addiction.
-
Outpatient weekly group and individual counseling for adolescents and adults with an identified addiction problem.
-
Intensive Outpatient At least nine hours of intensive addiction treatment including group and individual counseling for adults.
All client records are protected under Federal and State confidentiality regulations. Fees are determined based on gross income and number of family members using a sliding fee schedule. Only under or uninsured clients are eligible for treatment.
No client is refused services based on inability to pay.
