If you want to obtain a photocopy of any record from the Bureau of Environmental Health you must fill out a Public Information Act request form.
Under the Public Information Act guidelines the Harford County Health Department has 30 days to fulfill this request for information, whereupon if the request cannot be honored, you will be notified in 10 ( ten) days regarding the denial. To request the information follow these steps:
- Download the PIA request form.
- Once downloaded the form can be printed out on your computer.
- Fill out the form completely by answering all blanks. Not supplying the requested information could cause delays in the processing of your request.
- Once the form is completed you can either mail, FAX, or drop the form off in person at the Harford County Bureau of Environmental Health, 120 South Hays, 2nd floor Thomas Hays building between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, Closed on State Holidays.
The information you request if available will be either mailed to you or the results can be picked up at the Harford County Bureau of Environmental Health, 120 South Hays Street, 2nd floor, Thomas Hays Building between 8:00Am-5:00Pm, Monday-Friday, Closed on State Holidays. We cannot FAX the requested information back to you.
Most requested information is responded to within 7-14 calendar days.
FEE INFORMATION: Photocopies are $0.50 per page. Postage will be added to the photocopy fee for items mailed. Staff time is charged at $25 per hour after the first two hours.
