Administrative Care Coordination Unit (ACCU)
The Administrative Care Coordination Unit (ACCU) is responsible for outreach, education, and care coordination activities by registered nurses to potential and enrolled recipients of the Health Choice Medical Assistance Program. PRIMARY ADULT CARE PROGRAM (PAC)
PAC is a new program (administered through participating HealthChoice managed care organizations (MCOs) that will cover health care, pharmacy, and outpatient mental health care for low-income adults.
Eligibility--July 1, 2006:
*Must meet income and assets guidelines.
1. Age 19 and over
2. Not eligible for Medicare
3. A U.S. citizen or a qualified alien who meets all requirements
* Income: <116% FPL individuals
<100% FPL couples
* Assets: <$4,000 individuals
<$6,000 couples

This income standard is applied to the assistance unit's countable net income, after subtracting exclusions and disregards. The resource standard is applied to the PAC assistance unit's total countable resources (minus excluded resources) as of the 1st day of the month of application.
