2009 World No Tobacco Day 5K Run Run and Walk
The sixth annual 5K Run For Your Lungs and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk to celebrate World-No-Tobacco-Day will be held on April 25, 2009. The event will begin and end in the lower parking lot of the Liriodendron which is located at 502 W. Gordon Street and continue onto the Ma and Pa Trail. Race day registration will take place at 7:30 a.m. with the run starting at 8:30 a.m. The 1 Mile Family Fun Walk will begin at 8:45 a.m.
Race day actvities include:
- DJ services by The After Dinner Spinner
- Balloon Entertainment provided by Extreme Family Outreach
- Make Smoking Disappear Magic Show by Wayne Alan
- door prizes
- food
- and Much More Family Fun!
Pre-registration is recommended. All pre-registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. Look for race registration forms at Charm City Run and local businesses around the county.
