To provide appropriate transportation, for Harford County Medicaid recipients, to and from medical appointments covered by the Medical Assistance Program.

Rules and Regulations:

• Must have and active Medical Assistance Card

• Must Live in Harford County

• Must have no other means of transportation

• Must be going to a medical appointment covered by Medical Assistance

• Must use public transportation whenever possible

• Must schedule your ride at least one working day before your appointment

Instructions:

1. Make appointment with your Doctor

2. Call MA transportation at least one working day before scheduled appointment

3. Your ride will arrive approximately one hour before your scheduled appointment

4. Call cab company directly for your return trip 

What we ask of you:

• Schedule appointments when family members or friends can take of you

• Get babysitters for children who do not have appointments

• Your Doctor must call to make transportation arrangements for the same day

Please Remember....Our services are offered as a last resort.  Please try to utilize family members, friends, neighbors, volunteer organizations and churches whenever possible.
