The Harford County Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) process has been operational since 1977 via regular meetings of the FIMR team. The numbers of fetal and infant deaths vary from year to year, and are often influenced by numerous factors. Through the de-identified case review process, the FIMR team identifies systems, trends, and community issues that may be contributing to adverse birth outcomes.  Membership of the Board is multi-disciplinary and multi-agency and established by the Health Officer.  The FIMR team meets quarterly.  Please call 410-273-5626 for further details.
